The retired number FOUR! This vintage Boston Bruins wool sweater from the Original Six era shows at least a full season’s worth of wear with twelve team repairs and loads of pilling. Ancient spoked “B” high up on the chest. Two-tone tackle twill number “4” on the back and arms as worn by Bob Armstrong in 1958-59 or 1959-60. All original with the blue Jim McCarthy tag in the tail and the size “48” size label nearby. What a wonderful sweater!
