The Golden Jet sent many young netminders scurrying back to the safety of the minors with his ear-clipping wrist shot. This late-Sixties CCM Custom Pro features the pronounced curve that launched those armor-piercing projectiles. Stamping along the shaft includes “B.Hull”, “9” and “Gunzos Sports Centre, Berwyn ILL”. The stick is unsigned (making this one of the rarest Bobby Hull pieces extant). The knob is done in vintage black “bulldog” while more of the heavy black tape wraps the hooked blade. The notch at the handle dates this stick to after the 1968 auto accident that left Bobby with diminished use of his hand. Small area of damage at the bottom tip of the blade.
