It is one of the most famous gestures in all of baseball history and one of the most marveled "epic" feats of skill and focus - Babe Ruth's called shot during the 1932 World Series. After a lemon had been thrown at him at home plate, the Babe responded by pointing to the stands in center field. He did so after each pitch following (which was 4 pitches - two balls and two strikes) before he proceeded to smash one of his most amazing home runs ever, delivering it to the exact spot where he pointed. The dramatic nature of this event was made even more monumental by the fact that it would be the Babe's last World Series, and last home run hit in a WS.
