What makes this piece so desirable is its unique inscription in Spanish to fellow player Christian Guzman, taking up the backs of three fingers. In bold sharpie is, "Christian, Para un gran pelotero. Con Carino, Alex Rodriguez #3" which roughly translates in English to "Christian, for a great pitcher with love, Alex Rodriguez."
