One of the tougher Hall of Famer signatures to obtain, this one's a classic. Very large sweet spot signature is in bold blue ink. Only slightly bled in a couple of spots. Overall grades an 8 out of a possible 10. The non-official ball is a shellacked sphere and is covered with some foxing, giving it that vintage look. An even, golden-tan colored patina makes it a real beauty. A very nice look to this elusive vintage ball. Owner of one of baseball's insurmountable single-season records for 257 hits (still standing).
