This is a special letter I am issuing to meet demands of papers in the smaller cities which desire a live sporting feature; it is practically the same high class service I supply the largest dailies, but at a greatly reduced price…" Signed in black fountain pen. Signature grades a 9.5 out of a possible 10. Letter is EX with original folds. Dated Jan. 1912 on James J. Corbett letterhead with printed portrait in corner. Included is a set of playing cards printed with James Jeffries on the backs and different photos of fighters on the fronts. EX in original box.
