Pewter sculpture by Michael Ricker is a thing of beauty. One of the sports worlds' favorite subjects, Mickey Mantle is frozen in time, following through on his perfect swing. This limited edition was created to commemorate the great #7 after the time of his death in 1995. Statue stands 11" tall and is just a pleasure to look at. Black sharpie signature on display plate (plates for these were signed some time before his death) next to Mantle's statue makes it all the more desirable. There is a small wall behind Mantle designed to look like bricks with a plate affixed to it reading "Mickey Mantle 1961-1995. Played his entire career with the New York Yankees making 12 appearances in the World Series and hit a record 536 home runs." His pewter figure stands on a solid marble podium (9x5x1.5"). Limited edition #15/240 engraved on small plate on the back of the stand.
