Hotel register from historic “apartment hotel” in Boston known as the Piedmont House, frequented by the up-and-coming theater actors of the time (1950s-60s). This 100+ page register includes some of the earliest known autographs from such stars as Robert DeNiro (1968), Dustin Hoffman (1963), Martin Sheen (1964), 1966-67 Michael Douglass (two, one signed “Mike”), Morgan Freeman, Ralph Waite (2), Tommy Tune, and Al Pacino. All have included their addresses and other info, and all are in ink or pencil. Also includes Rado & Ragni (Hair), artist Patrick Nagle, James Cotton, and even Titanic discoverer Robert Ballard as a young seaman. Binding is fragile but pages are nice and clean. 14x8.5”. More Oscar winners than anywhere but Hollywood.
