This parallel insert set started the insert and chase card rage in the early 1990's. Some of the cards were very difficult to locate and thus were denoted as short-prints. We had six of the stars graded by PSA: #92 McGwire "9, #96 Ripken "9, #103 Bonds "9, #107 Nolan Ryan "9, #110 Griffey "8, and #199 Piazza "8. Other stars include: #63 Brett (Mint), #77 Gwynn (NM-MT), #79 Sosa (NM-MT+), #85 Maddux (NM-MT), #98 Mattingly (NM-MT), #104 Clemens (Mint), #105 Sandberg (NM-MT), #116 J. Gonzalez (Mint, oc), and #154 Randy Johnson (NM-MT, oc). Complete at 199 cards. Set averages NM-MT to Mint. One of the toughest modern sets to complete.
