The Boston Bruins came out on top during the 1971-72 regular season and went on to win the Cup in post season play. This silver plate bowl, supported by four sticks rising from the wood base was presented by the NHL to team executive Charles Mulcahy. A plaque attached to the base proclaims this and another reads “NHL Champions, Winners 1971-72, Boston Bruins”. This example is certainly vintage and has aged in appearance with a wonderful patina.
