Typed signed letter from producer, Phil Spector is dated "Xmas 1970" and addressed to Mal Evans, the Beatles' roadie and "righthand man". Regards to his help on the "Let It Be" album: "Mal: I know money is a rather impersonal way to say 'thank you' - but when you're so many thousands of miles away - it's the only way. Please have a drink on me and know how very much I have appreciated your kind and generous help this past year… Warmest regards and love, Phil." Signed in red felt tip. On "Phil Spector Productions" letterhead (5x8") with a Phil Spector photograph stamp in upper right corner showing him snorting cocaine. Original folds, EX. From the Mal Evans estate.
