One of the most storied franchises in Major League baseball history. Offered are 8 team signed baseballs, 7 of them from World Championship St. Louis Cardinals teams, highlighted by a 1967 ball (22 total sigs) with Maris, Brock, Gibson, Cepeda, Carlton & Schoendienst. 1926, the Cards’ first World Championship with Hornsby, Bottomley, Hafey, & Haines. 26 total signatures, most are light. 1942, the Cards’ defeat the New York Yankees again in the World Series. 23 total signatures with Slaughter & Musial. Ball is shellacked and has a dark brown patina. 1944, the year of the “Streetcar Series” in St. Louis, the Cards win in 6. 25 total signatures with Musial Mort Cooper. 1946, the Cards beat the Red Sox in the World Series as Stan Musial & Ted Williams face off for a hitting duel. 30 total signatures including Musial, Slaughter & Kurowski. 1949, 30 total signatures with Slaughter, Musial, & Schoendienst. Signatures are nice and dark. Ball has a light brown patina. 1964, 29 total signatures with Gibson, Brock & Boyer. 1982 World Champions, 30 signatures with Ozzie Smith, Hernandez & Schoendienst. All are ONL baseballs, cream colored and EX.
