Everlast Sporting Goods white boxing glove signed in black ink by Babe Ruth, Jesse Owens in blue ink and Bill Robinson (“Bojangles”) in black ink. There are also four other illegible and unidentifiable signatures. The piece itself is quite unique being the only boxing glove signed by Ruth to surface. Included also is a handwritten note that reads, “Sol was a member of the Circus Saints & Sinners in New York City. There were many sports celebrities in the club. The autographs on this Boxing glove were members also. Bill Robinson gave Sol this Boxing Glove.” The white leather of the glove is still very soft and supple. EX condition. LOA.
