Lot 1290: 1912 World Series Programs (2) and Press Ticket
Auction Date:6/18/2003 9:00 PM EST
Some of the rarest pieces froma World Sereis to remember. Heading into an unprecedented eighth and final game, the two titans found themselves deadlocked at three games a piece. Also having retained its fine coloring it is in EX condition. The “World Series Souvenir Biography and Score Book” displays toning that is light and even along with some scattered markings on the back cover. Overall EX. Also included is the used “Photographer’s Press Ticket” issued to the “Cleveland Press”, in purple ink. Separated into two pieces with paper loss along the perforated edges on the verso o/w EX.
