Some of the rarest pieces froma World Sereis to remember. Heading into an unprecedented eighth and final game, the two titans found themselves deadlocked at three games a piece. Ten seesaw innings later Boston would be crowned champions and the Giants would be faced with yet another unbelievable finish to an otherwise magical season. The 9”x11” Official Score Card/ Program from Brush Stadium boasts brilliant color and has remained in remarkable condition. Showing only the slightest wear to its edges and a single crease running top to bottom down the center. Its EX-MT pages have been scored, as have those of the 4.5”x9” “Souvenir” program. Also having retained its fine coloring it is in EX condition. The “World Series Souvenir Biography and Score Book” displays toning that is light and even along with some scattered markings on the back cover. Overall EX. Also included is the used “Photographer’s Press Ticket” issued to the “Cleveland Press”, in purple ink. Separated into two pieces with paper loss along the perforated edges on the verso o/w EX.
