And despite the fact that Barry Bonds broke Mark McGwire's single-season home run record just three years after he established it, the impact was nowhere near as great as when McGwire broke Maris' record in '98. White home St. Louis Cardinals jersey worn by Big Mac in his follow-up to his record shattering '98 season. "Cardinals" in script style lettering, red & blue embroidered stitch across the chest with gold embroidered bat with red Cardinal perched on each end. "25" sewn below left breast in red on blue tackle twill. "McGwire 25" on verso. Tagging inside front left tail is "Rawlings" with "set 1 1999" & Size 52 flag tags. Light use. LOA.
