Impressive silver award bowl by Balfour was presented to Nellie Fox after his 1959 MVP season "For Outstanding Contribution to Baseball 1959" as engraved on the bowl. Also engraved on the bowl in script is "Clark C. Griffith Memorial Trophy". On the band below is engraved, "Presented to Jacob Nelson ('Nellie') Fox" with raised football and "Touchdown Club of Washington, D.C. Silver Anniversary" on raised lettering. Trophy is EX.
