Official American League baseball holds three of the most highly regarded and desired signatures in the hobby. Highly regarded because they are three of the most influential players and personalities to ever play the game. There are a bunch of black fountain pen signatures on this ball, most of which are faded and illegible. Miraculously, the darkest and completely legible signatures are that of Cobb, Ruth & Gehrig, Cobb being the darkest. All rest on same panel. Entire baseball is shellacked and is covered with a dark brown patina.
