1989 Kirk Gibson Autographed Rawlings Adirondack 502B (34.75”). A nice looking piece of lumber, wielded the season following Gibson’s famed, dramatic ’88 World Series home run in the opener, which spurred the Dodgers to a World Championship. After fouling off four pitches, the injured, pinch-hitting Gibson hit that fabled shot off the A’s Dennis Eckersley, then limped around the bases while pumping his fist. Black barrel, signed on the sweet spot in white felt tip. “23” in black marker on knob and “23” in silver sharpie at other enc. Knob is stamped with “502B 216 09”. Nice use. 2. Mid 1980’s Allan Trammell Worth WC127 (34.5”). The leader of a Tigers team which enjoyed 11 straight winning seasons. Strong use and his #3 in black marker at both ends. Knob stamped with “AT 4.5 WC127”. 3. Lou Whitaker Worth WC123 (34.75”). The other half of the Trammell, Whitaker duo. Strong use with cracked handle and pine tar. His #1 written at both ends in black marker. Knob stamped with “LW 5 WC123”.
