Magnificent mosaic is from an old New Jersey church. In the latter part of the 19th Century, the Italian business thrived on selling religious mosaics to Churches and the affluent in the United States. Mosaic of the finest detail and artistry as is, the ethereal effect of light emanating from the Baby Jesus. The frame is ornate and hand carved. The piece measures 29x35” and is in EX-MT condition.
