Everlast training bag gloves came out of the collection of Joe Louis’ trainer, Mannie Seamon, originally sold as Lot A131A at Guernseys in April, 1990 (tag from that sale still attached). Everlast Manufacturer’s tag on each is printed with “Made Expressly for Joe Louis.” In Excellent condition, the gloves show only light wear. Used by Joe Louis in the 1940’s.
