Wonderfully ornate keepsake, resembling a medal is an amazing find from the origins of baseball! Emanating from the World Champion Baltimore baseball club of 1894, convex face of the pendant displays an awesome club cameo photo, slightly faded, but “BBC Baltimore 1894” is still dark and legible. The members of the Champion Baltimore Baseball Club are clearly pictured and you can read each name appearing below the player’s photo (right side is darker than the left). Backing is incredibly in nearly perfect condition. Clearly legible is “Baltimore B.B.C. 1894 Champions of the World” surrounding image of Washington Monument. Finely printed below that is “Torsch & Lee Balto Pat. Jan.30.1894” marking this fossil’s moment in time. EX.
