On July 4, 1980, facing the Cincinnati Reds, the all-time strikeout king claimed his 3,000th victim at Riverfront Stadium. That victim was Cesar Geronimo. ONL (Feeney) baseball shows great use from that colossal milestone game for Nolan Ryan, just a steppingstone on his way to 5,714 career strikeouts, a record which will probably stand for all of eternity.
