The most prestigious award a cartoonist can receive, this plaque was presented to the “Dean of Sports Cartoons” and the creator of the original Brooklyn Bum character. From the National Cartoonist Society the silver plaque decorated with playful characters and mounted on a wood base was given to Willard Mullin in 1960.
