ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
During the game’s first year of existence players participating in the mid-summer classic were never awarded the token that by today has become tradition. Fifty years after the Yankee hurler recorded the first R.B.I. in All-Star game history Lefty received this remarkable piece. Embedded in a ring of 10K gold is a beautiful purple stone centerpiece. Filling the right shank is a MLB logo above the word “baseball”. The left shank reads, “All-Star 1933.” Engraved with the initials V.G. along the inside of the band. Better late than never.
