Baseball's hallowed Polo Grounds stood from 1911-1964 and housed some of the greatest teams in the history of our national pastime. The New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers played here, as well as the Yankees and even the Mets for a brief time before the stadium was demolished. The Polo Grounds is now a defining piece of the memory of baseball's classic immortals, and a piece such as this hot dog steamer, which was a faithful prop during baseball's greatest moments, is a cherished and sacred piece of the legacy, now only a memory to be passed along to future generations. Constructed of metal with glass windows on three sides, it measures 28x12x12" and remains in Excellent condition.
