ITEM DESCRIPTION

Terrific pair of 1959 Topps Baseball Cello Packs. These are from a full cello box that was discovered in the past year! 12 cards per pack. These are from the 4th series featuring cards 287-374. Possible Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, Billy Martin, Richie Ashburn, Willie Mays with Ashburn, and Sparky Anderson’s rookie. Tightly wrapped in original factory cellophane. One pack features Marty Keough on top and Richie Ashburn on the bottom. Ashburn was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. The other pack has Billy Hoeft on top and Earl Averill on the bottom. With 12 cards per pack and only 87 cards in the series, you’ll get about 14% of the entire series in one pack. Based on the odds you’ll have a good chance of obtaining some stars in these packs. This pair will offer you your best chance at finding mint cards for the ’59 set. The pack with Ashburn on the back has brittle cellophane that has cracked at the bottom of the pack. The cards are exposed at the bottom but the only one affected is the Ashburn (it has one nicked corner). The pack with Hoeft on top exhibits the same brittle cellophane at the bottom as the Ashburn pack. The cards are exposed at the bottom but they are not affected in any way. Have an enjoyable time opening these for some high-grade cards!
