World War I Baseball Team Wearing Gas Masks
Extremely rare image of a World War I baseball team posing with their baseball equipment and emergency gas-masks over their shoulders. Taken in France in 1918, this unique 6.5x8.5" photograph features a "Jul 20 1918" stamp and a machine typed notation that reads, "RECREATION: Baseball team of the 42nd Division wearing gas masks----France." Some light creasing on the edges noticed.
