Sheldon "Chief" Bender 1964 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship Ring

Sheldon "Chief" Bender 1964 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship Ring

Led by Hall of Fame legends Bob Gibson and Lou Brock, the 1964 St. Louis Cardinals won their seventh World Series title in franchise history. Not to be confused with the legendary Hall of Famer Charles "Chief" Bender, this ring was given to scout and front office man Sheldon "Chief" Bender following the Cardinals' championship season. Featuring a genuine diamond, the ring is 14-kt white gold and marked "Balfour 14k" inside. In addition to being carved inside the ring, Bender's name "Sheldon Bender" is also etched into the ring's side scroll. Surrounding the red-domed center stone into which a diamond is set is "St. Louis Cardinals World Champions." Beneath Bender's name on the side is a pair of crossed baseball bats and on the opposite side is the year 1964 and the Cardinals' logo. The ring is size 8.5, weighs 33..1 grams, and is in EX-MT condition with original box and letter from Bender's son.
