This set of kimonos hails from a baseball Tour of Japan in 1934. Popularized in the 1930s, such tours included some of the most well-known players in the history of the game. These two are a matching adult and child model that was designed by the Japanese specifically for Americans. It is a baseball-themed robe in Excellent condition with Japanese writing interspersed with English baseball terminology such as "Home Run," "Pitcher," "Hit" and "Ball 1." There are many game images and even a linescore. Made of exceptional quality.
