Muhammad Ali vs. Leon Spinks On-Site Super Dome Poster
On September 15 1978, Muhammad Ali met Leon Spinks for the Heavyweight Title. Ali would avenge his earlier loss to Spinks and would win the title back by unanimous decision. Ali became the first man to win the heavyweight title on three different occasions. Here is an original poster advertising the fight and ticket sale. The paper advertising poster features graphic depictions of the fighters and advertises ticket sales in lower left corner. Produced in 1978 by Angelo Sal Navaro Production of New Orleans and printed on heavy stock paper. Bold color and print. Minor surface wear. Has several mild creases. Exceptionally rare, it is one of the few examples we have seen. 18" x 24".
