John Dillinger Appears in Court Photograph
Vintage 1934 image of infamous depression-era gangster John Dillinger appearing in court after his capture. Photo is 8.5x7" with one edge trimmed, rear has extensive wire-service caption dated February 6, just months before Dillinger was killed in a shootout with police. Also stamped by Brown Brothers, who collected photos of all types for publication starting in 1904.
