Dan Issel Denver Nuggets Practice Jersey and Shorts
They called him "The Horse" partly because of his interest in breeding ponies and partly due to the fact that he only missed 24 games in 15 professional seasons. Dan Issel is the Denver Nuggets' second all-time leading scorer and still ranks 9th on the all-time NBA/ABA scoring list with over 27,000 points to his credit. From his days with the racehorse Nuggets, check out this reversible practice jersey and short shorts from the late 1970s or early '80s. Both show good use with his number 44 screened on the back and also on the shorts. The jersey has an Extra Large tag while the shorts have a Southern Athletic tag.
