Babe Ruth Signed World's Fair Ticket

Babe Ruth Signed World's Fair Ticket

Over 44-Million people attended the 1939-40 World's Fair in Queens, including the legendary "Sultan of Swat," Babe Ruth, as evidenced by this autographed ticket stub. Ruth - who made several appearances at the exhibition - signed the stub in 6.5/10 fountain ink and it is in VG condition overall. A show all by himself, "The Bambino" was five years removed from baseball and eight years away from his death when he affixed his signature here. The World's Fair returned to Flushing Meadows in 1964.
