Babe Ruth Gets Carried Off of the Field (1931)
News service wire photo of the great Bambino being carried off the field at Fenway Park in Boston. Photo was taken on April 23, 1931. It is 8" x 10" and in VG-EX condition with some repaired tears/creases along the left side. The Babe was running to make a play on a hard liner along the left field foul line when he severely strained a ligament. His teammates are seen carrying him off the field. The Yankees did win the game.
