Ali Hand Painted and Autographed plates (3)

Ali Hand Painted and Autographed plates (3)

A trio of hand-painted “Home” plates created by Muhammad Ali, inspired by his 1965 journey to Islam. In each scene he depicts a small part of that life altering experience beginning with an image of an ocean liner being guided by the light of Islam. In the second, features worshipers kneeling before the “Mosque of Islam” while the last is decorated with the official flag of the Nation of Islam accompanied by the words, “Islam Offers Freedom, Justice, Equality”. Each one owns a black paint pen signature from Ali, which like some of the images, has been lightly distorted do to over handling, otherwise NR-MT.
