1968 Maury Wills Autographed Game Worn Pittsburgh Pirates Jersey

1968 Maury Wills Autographed Game Worn Pittsburgh Pirates Jersey

Maury Wills made his way into the record books in ’62 when he stole a record 104 bases, beating out Cobb’s record by 8 steals. Superb home white sleeveless flannel was donned by Wills, as a Pittsburgh Pirate in ’68. Front sewn with black on yellow felt lettering, “Pirates 30”, verso with “30”. Signed and inscribed on front right tail, “Maury Wills my game jersey 1968”. Tagging on front left tail is “Rawlings [size] 40”. “Wills” embroidered below the tag in black thread, and below that is the care tag with “set 1 1968” flag tag. Nice use. Included with the jersey is Wills’ ’68 Topps card and a Wills autograph ticket from “Pirate -Mania”, unsigned (1999).
