1962 "Decidedly" Kentucky Derby Record-Breaking Horseshoe
This incredible find was one of two discovered at a recent estate sale in Woodstock, Georgia. Perfectly vintage typed paper label on the reverse reads, "A shoe from the race. 1962 Kentucky Derby winner 'Decidedly.'" Made by Thoroughbred, the horseshoe shows great use. Decidedly was the fifth fastest winner in the history of the Derby and was sired by Determine, who also won in 1954. This was a very important horse, and only a few ran the Kentucky Derby faster. Measures 11.5x8x.75", condition is beautiful NRMT as is the presentation. Comes with Leland's LOA.
