1959 Topps Funny Valentine Original Artwork (2)
Topps' "Funny Valentine" collectable card series from 1959 put a cute, humorous spin on a traditionally romantic holiday. It features jokes with a plausibly romantic setup on front, and a spiked punchline on the reverse. These two pieces are original, EX condition artwork from this quirky series, and contain the paintings of cards number "9" and "20." Both are framed to 13 x 16", and come mounted with two examples of the actual cards, showing both the front and back images. The first card reads, "Your teeth are like stars..." while the second reads "No wonder we like each other..." Both advise reading the back panel for the punchline.
