1956 Little Richard Signed "Birth of Rock n' Roll" Conotract
His first AFTRA Musical Union Contract, signed by "Richard Penniman" in blue in ink - Little Richard himself. He has also dated it "1/5/56" with his Los Angeles address and under social security number has written in "Nat(ural) Citizen" as he probably didn't have one. From the birth of his career, this contract in some way represents the birth of Rock n' Roll as it really was Richard, Chuck and others who started it all. Comes with 1962 dues receipt. Strangely he has listed his profession as "model."
