1954 World Series Program Signed by Cy Young

1954 World Series Program Signed by Cy Young

Incredible 1954 World Series program signed by one of the game's most famous pitchers, Cy Young. Though he probably wasn't the most dominant pitcher of his era, Young was certainly the most durable. He still holds career records for most wins, innings pitched, games started, complete games and losses, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. The '54 Series was played between the Cleveland Indians, for whom Young played during his MLB career (though at the time they were known as the Naps), and the New York Giants. Young's signature appears on the cover and rates 7/10. There is a vertical crease, with light wear on the binding and minor spots on the cover, though the program is overall VG-EX. Young died a year after he signed it.
