1954 World Series NY Giants v Cleveland Indians Pennant

1954 World Series NY Giants v Cleveland Indians Pennant

Excellent condition and graphics on this rare, exceptional felt pennant which features both teams, given equal billing, except NY Giants are figuratively and "placed" meaningfully on top. Measures 29" and is from the last year the New York Giants won the pennant before they moved to San Francisco and one of the last years they played at the historic Polo Grounds. This World Series is remembered in Giants history because of their sweep of Cleveland in the and "The Catch," and particularly reminiscent to New York fans because of their eventual move. The pennant is in righteous red with white lettering, and the team logo in yellow. Condition is EX-MT.
