1936 World Series Champion New York Yankees Team-Signed Baseball (PSA/DNA)
This is simply the nicest of its kind ever offered, an Official American League (Harridge) baseball signed by 18 members of the 1936 World Series Champion New York Yankees. It's highlighted by a beautiful tandem of Lou Gehrig and Joe McCarthy on the sweet spot, but while most balls from this era have clubhouse McCarthy signatures, this one is the real thing. Other signatures include: Joe DiMaggio (rookie), Earl Combs, Tony Lazzeri, Frank Crosetti, Red Rolfe, Red Ruffing, Arthur Fletcher, Roy Johnson, John Broaca, Pat Malone, Monte Pearson, George Selkirk, Ted Kleinhans, Walter Brown, Arndt Jorgens and Ben Chapman. Signatures average a solid 8/10 and the ball is in EX condition but coated with a fairly clear layer of shellac. Those '36 Bronx Bombers lived up to their names, winning the AL pennant by 19.5 games before capturing the World Series crown. Comes with full letter from PSA/DNA.
