1930s "Ideal Luxury" Japanese Baseball Game in Original Box Complete

1930s "Ideal Luxury" Japanese Baseball Game in Original Box Complete

While baseball is considered America's Pastime, it is equally popular in the Land of the Rising Sun. This amazing Japanese board game is the only one of it's kind that we've seen, and was likely produced around the baseball craze surrounding the 1934 US tour that included the likes of Ruth and Gehrig. The 7.5x8.5" box has great etched graphics of a hand holding a ball amid a baseball diamond, surrounded by Japanese kanji characters. Inside is a remarkably well-preserved card-stock playing board, what is likely an instruction manual, and cardboard playing pieces. Box and playing pieces are in EX+ condition.
