1930's Lou Gehrig Single Signed Baseball

1930's Lou Gehrig Single Signed Baseball

Hundreds of times more rare than his buddy the Babe's single. You almost never see Gehrig alone on a ball, so when you do you'd better perk up your ears. Side panel inscription from the Iron Horse is dark and legible, reading, To Ray Jr., Kindest Regards, Lou Gehrig." Ball is stamped "Taylor Boys League, Alex Taylor & Co., New York City." Toning is even and pleasant, making for a display that will stand up proudly in the finest of baseball collections. Originally acquired with the Gehrig signed paper hat, also in this auction.
