Extremely rare, excellent-condition photo of the Babe during one of his post-season barnstorming tours designed to cash in on his tremendous popularity. Taken on a stop in Dunsmuir, California on October 22, 1924, the unique photo is skewed to a pitcher's-eye view, with Ruth at the plate and a grandstand full of well-dressed folks behind him, no doubt in awe seeing the legend in the flesh. 6x 8 1/2". A great slice of Americana.
