During his time as an editor for Metropolitan Magazine, Roosevelt writes this letter on official Metropolitan stationary. In this letter he is replying to thank and acknowledge a Mr. Mitchell for the letter he sent. Dated April 11, 1916, Roosevelt worked for Metropolitan Magazine from 1914 til his death in 1919. During his time at Metropolitan Magazine, Roosevelt and his coworkers were critical of President Woodrow Wilson and his agenda on Foreign policy and how was was dealing with World War I.
