1893 Lord Stanley Signed Handwritten Letter to His Son

Written on Lord Stanley letterhead, it reads "I have yet found a horse-so in his absence accept a pony. Your loving father." Closed with his unmistakable signature. The note, dated "Sept. 20. 93", was penned to his youngest son, William. Writing and signature in black ink are both 8/10 while paper is EX. From the same year Lord Stanley donated the historic award that bears his name.
